Glass is near Mint except for a few Cleaning Marks (which are too small to be picked up by my Canon 5D Mark III) on the Front Element. There are no Scratches, Fungus, haze or Separation, just a small bit of dust. A very small amount of paint missing from the edges of the Front Bezel. A few General Comments about a Lens’ Condition. What is the difference between a scratch in the glass of a lens and a hairline wipe mark? A scratch can be felt when you gently run a fingernail across it and a hairline wipe mark is only in the coating and cannot be felt. A scratch may refract light if it’s deep enough.
