MC Zenitar 2.8/16 Fishe-eye short throw ultra wide angle lens m42. MC Zenitar 16mm f/2.8 (export version MC Zenitar 16mm f/2.8) is a short-focus ultra-wide-angle compact lens designed for SLR cameras with a frame size of 24×36 mm. Constructed according to the diagonal “Fisheye” pattern. That is, this is a lens without distortion correction. Allows you to get a 180-degree view diagonally across the frame. Thanks to this, the lens makes it possible to create original images and provides unique creative opportunities for artistic photography. The Zenitar MC 16 mm f/ 2.8 lens has a jumping aperture and is equipped with a set of filters. Type of connection to the camera: M42x1 thread with a working length of 45.5 mm. The ten-element design with small dimensions and weight provides very good image quality and color rendition, high glare protection, and the ability to convey small details of an object. Multi-layer coating applied to the lens lenses increases light transmission and reduces light scattering, which ensures good contrast and image sharpness, and largely eliminates ghosting, flare and light spots even when photographing against the light. The blackening of the internal surfaces and diaphragm blades cannot be compared with that of older models. The proximity protection is simply excellent! Also, the mechanical performance and the accuracy of the calibration and operation of the diaphragm do not cause any complaints. The Zenitar MC 16 mm f/ 2.8 lens is extremely easy to use, even despite the lack of autofocus. When installed at the hyperfocal distance, already with an aperture of 5.6, the depth of field becomes from 0.8 meters to infinity and no autofocus is simply required. M26.5×0.5 filters are screwed onto the rear shank. It is impossible to install filters in front.
