It has very quiet and rapid autofocus which makes it great for video. It’s also great for still photos (see samples included in this listing). While the lens can be used on an EOS R, it only produces 10 megapixel stills as it uses only 1/3 of the sensor. This makes my 17-40mm EF L Series lens a better fit. The lens is in perfect mechanical and optical order. It has never been dropped or roughly handled. It has no scratches, fog, fungus, or cleaning marks.
