Optically, this lens is identical to the Rokinon 35mm f/1.4, which is known for its excellent sharpness and contrast. Hybrid aspherical lenses and multi-layer coating produce sharply defined images with a minimum of flare and ghosting. There is slight vignetting at T1.5 on a full-frame sensor but it is nearly gone by T2.0 and APS-C or MFT sensors will probably never see it.
