This Lomo Standard Speed lens set does not have any deep scratches on it’s glasses or inside optical construction; it is free of fungus, haze, fog, separations or any other issues that eliminate it from professional use; it was serviced in Lenziz Optics and in Panavision; both companies did what they could, to make lenses optics perfect; all lenses glasses were precisely cleaned; few glasses were exchanged for perfect ones from spare optical Lomo blocks; all lenses blocks were callibrated to give the best optical performance; as most old lenses, they can have some faint cleaning marks, marks on coating, micro dust inside, etc. But all those’issues’ are nothing to worry about during filming, as they do not deteriorate lenses optical properties; all lenses were checked on Chrosziel lens projector and they all give excellent flat image with it; this lens set optical performance has approval of both lenses services, to be used even in professional. MECHANICALLY: EXCELLENT+ / PERFECT- this Lomo Standard Speed lens set mechanics is fully serviced; all lenses focus and aperture rings works smooth and as good, as they can in old Russian lenses; lenses were serviced in Lenziz Optics and Panavision by professional Techs; lenses were dissasembled to parts, fixed (like: backlash and shifting cancellation), re-lubed and put together. Please, note that lenses are callibrated to infinity (infinity sign on lenses is real infinity on collimator), but rest of scale numbers can be a bit moved, as russian factory workers were not very porecise, so we can’t take responsibility for it’s precision (for example: sometimes 1m on lens scale is like 1.3m in real); this lens set mechanical performance has approval of both lenses services, to be used even in professional. This Lomo Standard Speed lens set casings are in excellent condition for it’s age; there are no serious damages at all; all lenses scales are in perfect condition, very visible (mostly re-painted); in generall, those lenses are old lenses and can have some really micro dents/cracks, but there’s nothing to worry about; in generall, most of them has just some light scratches or paint missings on it’s black, anodized covering, nothing more.
