According to Canon, this lens offers ultra-wide angle of view in a compact, portable package, perfect for EOS cameras with an APS-C sensor. So, Ive had it for a few years, and used this lens for outdoor landscape work as well as aircraft static displays. The lens has been well cared for, and was never dropped or exposed to moisture, grit, or salt. Everything functions and the lens was professionally cleaned earlier this year so youre getting a good value EXCEPT the lens hood has been repaired with model glue (you can see the repair in a few of the attached photos).
