We also do not check lenses coverage and do not know if lens is 8mm, 16mm, S16mm, 35mm or S35mm format. Our job is to check it’s optical, mechanical and visal condition. We sell this lens as described and we are not responsible for camera format coverage or adaptation problems. There’s NO deep scratches, deep’cleaning marks’, cracks or any other serious damages on lens glasses; there’s NO fungus, mold, fog, haze, separations or any other serious damages inside optical construction; there’s a lot of MICRO’cleaning marks’ on front glass coatings, but they are FAINT ones, NOT deep ones and visible just in bright light; few MICRO marks/spots on glasses coatings too, but this is quite normal in old lenses; some MICRO pieces of dust inside optical construction, what is normal in vintage lenses. We think this lens is still in excellent- or even better optical condition, but remember that this evaluation is just our. Focus, zoom and aperture rings works smooth, fine, without any problems; focus ring works very smooth, what is very important for filmmakers; zoom ring works a BIT unregular, but still smooth; aperture ring has MICRO backlash on it; aperture stops up to f/22 without any problems. There’s NO grease on aperture blades; it has c-mount screw mount at the moment. We think this lens is in excellent or even better mechanical condition for it’s age, but remember that this is just our. Subjective opinion; remember that this is old, vintage lens, so it will NEVER works like brand new Angenieux zoom lenses for 30k USD or more; this is still nice piece of equipment. This lens has just some LIGHT marks on it’s body, as can be seen on REAL pictures under item description; some light scratches, paint missings and dirt in some places can be found for sure; NO SERIOUS dents, cracks or any other SERIOUS damages on it’s body; we think this lens is in excellent or even better visual condition for it’s age, but remember that this is just our.
